I have developed excellent organizational and leadership skills in general management of our family business over the past 3 years, and through participation in formal leadership training programs with Landmark Education. I am passionate about training and developing young athletes and bring 13 years of ski racing and coaching experience to the Aegle organization.
I thrive on making a difference in people’s lives and was honoured to be a part of the Marathon of HeaIth, an epic 15,000 km family relay run across Canada and the US to motivate and educate people to choose healthy lifestyles. Organizing the first Wakefield Covered Bridge Run helped me understand what’s possible when it comes to making a difference in my own life and in my community.
I recently was awarded the 2012 Social Entrepreneur Youth Award from the Canadian Corporate and Community Social Responsibility Conference. Aegle Events allows me to do what I love most, to organize events that inspire activity and well-being and make a difference in communities.

Shelley Crabtree

I have strong writing, organizational and leadership skills developed over 20 years of communications and public policy experience in the agriculture industry. I specialized in events management, planning and strategic development in the last 6 years.
My work as a volunteer on various teams in community and sports-based organizations since 1996 raised thousands of dollars to support initiatives targeting youth. I have competed in running race events since 2003 and in triathlons in the last two years. The experiences anchored my belief that people have extraordinary potential if they are willing to push through their perceived limits. As a partner in Aegle Events, I can combine my passions for connecting with people, organizing events and giving back to communities to inspire individuals to act on their health and reach their own personal “Everests”.

Nathalie Poirier
Creative, leadership, vision, community and networking
My 13 years of experience in the financial industry, participating in conferences both as an event organizer and a public speaker, managing teams, training and educating staff, brings strong leadership skills and a belief that action coupled with clear goals lead to powerful results.
Together with a fine arts degree (BFA), strong marketing skills and networking abilities and a bold creative vision I am able to create new and exciting sporting events that have a strong mandate of community involvement and giving. My passion for swimming, running and the outdoors combined with Aegle Events allows me to give and contribute to our local and global communities all the while educating and moving others to action.
