Wakefield Moonlight River Run Mission:
The Wakefield Moonlight River Run’s mission is to create a new and exciting perception of health by enlisting through participation, inspiring through knowledge and transforming with challenging events. Inspired by the beautiful landscape of Wakefield, Québec, Aegle is very proud to present to this very unique night run in the Ottawa region, the Wakefield Moonlight River Run. Under the light of the full moon, this run will take you through some of Wakefield’s most beautiful and picturesque riverside landscapes along the Gatineau River to be greeted at the finish line with live music and a celebration in the heart of Wakefield. Your participation in the Moonlight River Run helps raise funds for reputable local and global charitable organizations like the Wakefield Emergency Fund, the Wakefield Grannies and Sportsjeunesse Québec. Their mandates include the health and well- being of youth in communities and the 2012 event raised $7000 for these three organizations collectively.
